From beech tree planting to spring restoration – hundreds of volunteers helped out in the Brdy forests

Four days of volunteering, hundreds of people, and one common theme – helping the Brdy landscape cope with climate change. This year, the international LIFE Adapt Brdy project attracted hundreds of volunteers of all ages to Brdy, whether to plant trees, restore springs, or learn how water and forests form an interconnected system. It was not just about the work itself, but also about understanding why forests need water and water needs forests, and why we humans need them too.
