At the beginning of July 2025, a project meeting of the members of the LIFE Adapt Brdy consortium took place in Pirna, Saxony, focusing on current outputs and planned steps in individual work packages.
The consortium members met to jointly evaluate the interim results and plan the next steps. The steering committee approved updates to key outputs, including an evaluation of the communication strategy and dissemination plan. The format of the planned informational video was also discussed.
Attention was also focused on the planned training for foresters, which will take place in November this year, and on the preparation of study materials for university students. The outputs from the areas of forest monitoring, stand regeneration, and game management were also discussed. There was also discussion of the upcoming workshops for stakeholders and the volunteer day in Brdy, which will take place on September 13.
The meeting not only provided a recap of ongoing activities, but also specific tasks and an outlook for the coming period. The next meeting of the Steering Committee is scheduled for January 2026 at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague.
