Military Forests and Estates of the Slovak Republic, s.e. and their 26 employees from Slovakia, including the director Ing. Ján Jurica, participated in a two-day field trip on 9-10 May 2024, which took place at the Hořovice division in Brdy area. This excursion was also attended by the director of VLS CR, s.p., the production director, the administrative director and the directors of the other divisions.
The aim was to acquaint the participants with the LIFE Adapt Brdy project and to pass on the experience and knowledge gained from the project so far. The participants visited several selected demonstration sites and also other forest stands where the principles of close-to-nature management methods set by the project methodologies are applied.
